Speech-Language Pathologist

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for providing professional services to students who have Speech/Language therapy

needs.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or

ability required.

 

  1. Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or complete an equivalent education program in speech-language pathology.

  2. Individuals seeking employment must also fill clinical experience requirements and obtain proper certification (CCC-SLP).

  3. good written and verbal communication skills;

  4. Visual acuity to perceive student reactions to treatment

  5. Ability to develop good interpersonal relationships with and between students, parents, and staff.

  6. The candidate will need to confess in writing his/her profession of personal faith in the saving work of Jesus Christ alone, along with a commitment that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, the only rule of faith and practice.

Substitute Teacher

Promise Christian Academy is seeking substitute teachers for 2024 - 2025. Candidates should be individuals who love God, love children, and have a passion for Christian education. Please send completed applications to info@promisestl.org

Promise Christian Academy requires its Faculty and Staff to hold membership in good standing in a Christan church in an evangelical denomination. If you have questions about your eligibility under this requirement, please contact the school office when applying.

Salary & Benefits

Salary is based on educational level, certification(s), and years of experience. Employees will be contracted yearly. Contracts will be renewed according to evaluations and staff interest. Salaried employees are offered optional health benefits (medical, dental, and vision), optional disability insurance, and a retirement plan: PCA 403b plan.

 

To ensure safety for all students, all staff members may be fingerprinted. Background checks will be conducted on all school staff prior to their service as employees. Promise Christian Academy requires membership in good standing in a Christian church in an evangelical denomination, which embraces biblical reformed doctrine as set forth in the Westminster Confession of Faith Catechisms.
